Safety Disclaimer
Effective date: July 10, 2026
READ THIS DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY BEFORE USING CIRCUIT DIRECTORY. WORKING WITH ELECTRICITY IS DANGEROUS AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Circuit Directory (the “Service”), operated by T Meador Construction LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is a software tool for creating, organizing, and storing electrical panel circuit directories. This page explains the limits of what the Service does and does not do. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to everything below.
1. The Service is an organizational tool only
Circuit Directory helps you record and organize information about electrical circuits and panels. It is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not, and must not be treated as, professional electrical advice, an inspection, a code-compliance determination, or a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional.
The Service does not:
- Verify that any information you or others enter is accurate, complete, or current;
- Inspect, test, or measure any physical electrical system;
- Determine whether a circuit is energized or de-energized;
- Confirm compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, or any other standard;
- Replace a licensed electrician, electrical inspector, or other qualified professional.
2. You must independently verify everything before acting
Never rely on a circuit directory — whether created in this Service or anywhere else — to determine whether a circuit is safe to touch. Labels can be wrong. Panels get re-wired. Breakers get mislabeled, moved, or replaced. Information stored in the Service may be outdated, incorrect, or entered by someone else.
Before performing any electrical work, you must:
- Always test to confirm a circuit is de-energized using a properly rated and verified voltage tester or meter, immediately before contact, every time;
- Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures;
- Comply with all applicable electrical codes and regulations; and
- Hire a licensed electrician for any work you are not fully qualified, trained, and authorized to perform.
Assume every conductor is live until you have personally proven otherwise with a tested instrument.
3. Assumption of risk
Electrical work carries inherent risks including electric shock, arc flash, burns, fire, property damage, serious bodily injury, and death. You assume all risk arising from any electrical work you perform or direct, and from any reliance you place on information stored in or produced by the Service. If you are not a qualified professional, do not perform electrical work — hire one.
4. No warranty; no liability
The Service and all information in it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that any circuit directory or other information is accurate, reliable, complete, or fit for any purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, T Meador Construction LLC and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any injury, death, property damage, loss, or other harm resulting from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, or from any reliance on information stored in or produced by it. This limitation is explained further in our Terms of Service.
5. Emergencies
The Service is not a monitoring, alarm, or emergency-response system. In an electrical emergency, contact your local emergency services and a licensed electrician immediately.
By using Circuit Directory, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Safety Disclaimer.
